Painting Commission to Savor a Magical Moment.

Magic of Childhood

Magical moments -- especially in the life of a child -- happen every single day. These moments usually emerge from our daily life, and are wonderfully unexpected and spontaneous. Through the incredible power of technology, we now so often have a camera in our back pocket, and are at the ready to record these special times!

Finding Adventure Close to Home

This special moment happened on a beautiful spring day in 2020, during the pandemic. Ryan's parents had just bought him a brand new fishing rod and together, they set out on an exciting family adventure just a short distance from home.

Beaming with Pride -- First Catch!

The sheer delight in Ryan's expression tells an exceptional story of joy, awe and pride! It was a split second moment when he reeled in his first catch. What a memorable moment in the life a young boy! How fortunate Ryan is that his parents were able to quickly capture this defining moment in a snapshot.

Elevating a Meaningful Moment into Art

When Ryan's father shared this special photograph with me, I knew immediately that it was a family story worthy of being illustrated in a painting!

A Norman Rockwell Moment

Today, it is one of my favorite paintings that tells a delightful story. The finished painting is better than the photo, as it is a re-intepreted, re-imagined illustration of the original photo, telling a real life story as if it were a Norman Rockwell painting about the magic of childhood.

Outstanding! Goes Straight to the Heart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Wow. It's really outstanding! We are all blown away. The painting personifies a real life moment in our lives, with such warmth that it goes straight to the heart. It is so much more than the original photo could ever convey. It's like that feeling one gets when you see a Norman Rockwell painting."  -  Peter

What story would you like to tell?

It's easier than you think to commission a painting. But only five commissions are accepted a month. Will yours be one of them?
